iPad Bluetooth Keyboard: Do you really need it?

Got this as a surprise gift. :)
But I am not sure if I really need this.Questions like "Will it defeat the purpose?" keeps popping up on my mind mainly because I love iPad's awesome swiping capabilities. It makes my life easier and well, "cool. ".

Nuf said. I don't want to judge. So I think it's better I give this a shot first. It's a gift. And one thing I should do is to -- appreciate it. Right?
